PF leader Michael Sata on Saturday concluded his tour of Southern province and described his campaigns there as successful. “Unlike in 2006 and 2008, what I just witnessed in the province are citizens tired and frustrated with tribal inclination Hakainde’s UPND.PF will for the first time win seats there both at parliamentary and local government level and be part of the PF led government after 20th September” Sata said on Saturday night before flying back to Lusaka. Another source on the Sata’s entourage said all PF rallies in the province were calm unlike in 2008 where UPND zealots would come disrupt rallies with UPND symbols. “All our rallies were well attended and calm except in Mazabuka where the former area MP Garry Nkombo was rattled by our crowd and in his childish fashion drove at a supersonic speed past our rally while vigorously gesturing through the car widow his party symbol. He looked like a possessed Chainama inmate” the source said. Nkombo is one of the UPND aspiring MPs predicted to lose his seat to either PF or MMD.
