The University of Zambia Students Union (UNZASU) has urged government to ensure that shoddy works are avoided during the construction of the new hostels. The Union has further urged government to ensure that works are done on time. UNZASU spokesperson Beatrice Nakazwe says good workmanship will guarantee good infrastructure that is expected to last long. Ms Nakazwe was commenting on the resumption of the construction works on the new hostels which had stalled in 2008 when government withdrew its bid to host the 2011 All Africa Games. In the last few months, UNZASU had been engaging the Ministry of Education to help resume the works on the project which will see the construction of a ten thousand capacity bed spaces
