Police have warned and cautioned former Science and Technology Minister, Peter Daka for the offence of obtaining pecuniary advantage by false pretences. This is contrary to section 309 A subsections 1 and 2 of the penal code cap 87 of the laws of Zambia. Mr. Daka is alleged to have accumulated an electricity bill amounting to 45 Million Kwacha at his former official residence house no 5368/4 along Brentwood drive in woodlands. He is alleged to have been using a purportedly residential tariff for commercial gain of his block making business Mr Daka was warned and cautioned from Petauke police station this morning. Joint investigative wings spokesperson, Charity Chanda has confirmed. And Mr. Daka has also confirmed the development in a telephone interview.
