Vendors in the central business district in Lusaka are earmarked to be removed before Christmas. Lusaka Mayor, Daniel Chisenga says the vendors will be cleared before Christmas. He says the taskforce constituted to deal with the issue of vendors has been checking market spaces in various markets around Lusaka. Mr. Chisenga says the taskforce has found that there are unoccupied trading spaces in Kanyama, Bauleni and Mandevu markets. He has advised the vendors to leaving the streets.
