Pontoon operations on the Zambezi river at Kazungula border post, Southern province have been suspended. ? ZANIS reports that the decision follows an accident involving a South African truck and a pontoon, which occurred on the Botswana side. ? Eye witnesses say the accident happened when the truck registration number, VSR 089-GP, sidestepped the pontoon loading bay, leaving its trailer submerged in water. ? And Kazungula Border Post Pontoon Supervisor, Michael Kamwi has disclosed that a Zambian pontoon has been dispatched to help resolve the problem.
