The Foundation for Democratic Process (FODEP) has called on the Civil Society Organizations in the country not to relent in fighting for the enactment of a new Constitution. FODEP Executive Director MacDonald Chipenzi has told Qfm that the Constitution amendment Bill should be top of the agenda for the incoming government. Mr. Chipenzi says Zambia desperately needs a new constitution in order to resolve various constitutional challenges currently being faced. He says as voices for the majority people, the CSOs should endeavor to lobby the next government for a new constitution. The FODEP Executive Director says it is therefore incumbent upon the Zambians people to ensure that a constitution that will stand a test of time is put in place.
