The Zambia Episcopal Conference –ZEC- has appealed to politicians to remain united and calm as the electorate cast their votes tomorrow. ZEC Spokesperson, Paul Samasumo says the church attaches great importance to the values of human rights therefore the need o avoid inciting violence. In an interview with ZANIS, Father Samasumo has further appealed for peace among Zambians as they chose their preferred candidates tomorrow. And in a separate interview, Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia Executive Director, Pukuta Mwanza has urged politicians to refrain from issuing provocative statement tomorrow. Reverend Mwanza has also stressed that it is imperative for political parties to observe the electoral code of conduct.
