Grew up in Zambia. Primary School in Chipata. Secondary School - Prince Philip High School, Lusaka (later known as Kamwala Secondary School). Went to University of Zambia and completed Bachelor of Engineering (Civil). Worked in Ndola and Chipata before departing for Australia in 1975.
